Chiranjibi Shah

Dr. Chiranjibi Shah has received the B.E. degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering from Pokhara University, Nepal, in 2012. He has completed a Ph.D. degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Mississippi State University, Starkville, MS, USA in December 2021. His research work includes applying different machine learning and deep learning techniques for dimensionality reduction and classification of high dimensional hyperspectral image datasets.

From May 2022, he has started to work as a Postdoctoral Associate at Northern Gulf Institute, High Performance Computing Collaboratory, Mississippi State University, Starkville, MS, USA. As a Postdoctoral Associate, he is working in computer vision to apply novel machine learning and deep learning based techniques for object detection and classification of fish imagery. He is also interested in big data analytics, such as healthcare data , natural language processing, and robotics.
